Jubilation Ringers

This handbell ensemble for adults from the congregation and the community plays monthly in worship and for special occasions.

Grace Notes

Grace Notes is a women’s choir open to all women no matter age, experience, or ability to read music. This choir sings several times throughout the year and is led by Melanie Von Spreecken.

When: Wednesdays,  6:15-7:00PM

Chancel Choir

This four-part adult choir traces its roots to the founding of First United Methodist Church. their repertoire encompasses a wide variety of musical styles ranging from 16th-century compositions to contemporary praise and worship songs.

When: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00PM
Where: Sanctuary

Praise Team

An assortment of praise teams rotate monthly in worship, featuring contemporary praise and worship songs. Both vocalists and instrumentalists work primarily from chord charts and lead sheets.

When: Thursdays, 6:00-7:00PM (or other times as arranged)

Soloists and Small Groups

If you have another interest in music ministry not represented above, you are welcome to contact the music director, Phil Carver, to arrange for opportunities to share your gifts. Ensembles typically meet during the school year, so summer Sundays are often available as well as music for special occasions through the year.

Audio/Visual Teams

Each Sunday, we have rotating groups of people to run our presentation slides, soundboard, and cameras for the livestream. You may specialize in one more of these ministries, depending on your interest. Orientation and training is provided.
