Our Commitment
First UMC is committed to living the Christian values of love, faith, and grace. As Jesus taught, we commit ourselves to being welcoming of all.
Our church is open for all, no exceptions.

The College Ministry students and volunteers spent a Monday afternoon serving hot cider, popcorn, and other desserts for students on the corner of Jefferson and Dubuque street.
The Garden of Grace had a great first year. They provided over 140 pounds of fresh produce to area food banks. They involved people of all ages, and formed friendships around the garden, as we celebrated God’s gift of nourishing food. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this first year a great success!
It is our hope that through worship and ministries you will be connected with God and with new friends in faith. It is our commitment to assist you in growing in your faith relationship with God so that you may join us in making a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
Join us for Worship, Sundays at 8:30am & 10:30am.
All of our worship services at FUMC feature sermons that connect the Bible to the daily living of our faith. We seek to live John Wesley’s understanding of grace in our relationships with God, one another, and the world.
