Our Commitment
First UMC is committed to living the Christian values of love, faith, and grace. As Jesus taught, we commit ourselves to being welcoming of all.
Our church is open for all, no exceptions.
Ensemble Jeon shared a concert on September 29 featuring folk music from around the world.
The College Ministry students and volunteers spent a Monday afternoon grilling burgers and hotdogs for students on the corner of Jefferson and Dubuque street.
Table of Grace had a wonderful first event serving 140 meals to individuals with food insecurities. Remaining portions of tater tot casserole, goulash, chili, hamburgers, and many sides and desserts, were then delivered to homeless camps in the area.
It is our hope that through worship and ministries you will be connected with God and with new friends in faith. It is our commitment to assist you in growing in your faith relationship with God so that you may join us in making a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
Join us for Worship, Sundays at 8:30am & 10:30am.
All of our worship services at FUMC feature sermons that connect the Bible to the daily living of our faith. We seek to live John Wesley’s understanding of grace in our relationships with God, one another, and the world.
